Trifling

tri·fling
ˈtrīf(ə)liNG/
adjective

1. unimportant or trivial.  "a trifling sum"
synonyms: trivial, unimportant, insignificant, inconsequential, petty, minor, of little/no account, of little/no consequence, footling, pettifogging, incidental

I have a family member who runs a baby stocking business. It seems trifling to me. But I recognize that it's important to her.

We each share things from time to time on a group text. I share things that are important to me and she shares things that are important to her. There may be some issues of concern (to me personally) in the Church that seem trifling to her, but those same things are of great importance to others.

And that's okay. We can be on a different path even though we share the same ultimate goal.

"We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may."
