I somewhat understand...Thanks for this background. I somewhat understand the nature of the the phrase. I've attended several meetings in which the presiding leader sought the opinions of those present, and having done so, prayerfully chose a direction. While certainly and individually we could second guess and undermine the ultimate direction chosen, I would think "the thinking has been done." It doesn't mean that direction was good or best or divinely revealed. However, as we sustain our leaders, I think the Lord expects us to do our best to support the implementation of that decision until such time as occasion arises to change it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
